- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police say a driver intentionally ran over two pedestrians, severely injuring one of them. Police at 4:40 a.m. Saturday took a call that a pedestrian had been hit in a parking lot on west International Airport Road. Officers found an injured man and a seriously injured woman in the lot. Police say they had been walking away from the roadway when a red sedan pulled in and stopped 10 feet away. Two people got out. After a verbal exchange, the driver got back into the car and drove into the victims. The man dodged but the vehicle ran over and broke his ankle. The woman was struck and fell beneath the car. The driver was described as about 30 years old, black, 5-feet-7-inches, with a short "buzz cut" haircut.
