- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - An elderly woman who was in the apartment where two Anchorage residents were killed last month has died. The Anchorage Daily News reports Yan Sreap, who was in her 90s, died earlier this week at Providence Hospital. Prosecutors say she had been sexually assaulted in the same attacks that killed her daughter and son-in-law, 73-year-old Sorn Sreap and 71-year-old Touch Chea. They were found beaten to death.  Prosecutors say Sreap, Yan and Sreap's 2-year-old great-granddaughter were sexually assaulted. A suspect in the attacks, 24-year-old Jerry Andrew Active, has been charged in the attacks and is being held on $1.5 million bail. Yan's sexual assault was not part of initial charges. Assistant District Attorney Clint Campion says investigators had not received forensic exam results and Yan, who suffered dementia, could not communicate.
