- FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) - State Troopers say they're investigating a serious injury sustained by a Fairbanks woman who fell or jumped from a moving pickup truck. Troopers say 29-year-old Krystal Blackburn Tribble remains in a coma at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage. Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters tells the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner that Tribble on Oct. 5 was a passenger in a vehicle on a road off the Richardson Highway between Fairbanks and North Pole. Peters says Tribble was intoxicated. Peters says the driver reported Tribble opened the door and put her feet out before falling or jumping from the truck. Troopers have not been able to interview Tribble, but did interviewed the driver.
