Small earthquake felt in Willow

- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A small earthquake Tuesday morning was felt north of Anchorage. The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says in a release that the quake was recorded just after 9 a.m. in the Cook Inlet region. It had a preliminary magnitude of 2.9, and was recorded at a depth of about 16 miles. Officials say the quake was felt in the community of Willow, home to the official start of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. There were no immediate reports of damage. The center says the quake was centered about 30 miles north of Anchorage.
