- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police now say a woman who was found injured early Monday morning on a street was the victim of a violent assault. Police spokeswoman Anita Shell says the woman is listed in critical condition at a hospital. She has not yet been identified. Shell says police were called when a passer-by saw an abandoned Chevy Tahoe in the middle of Fairbanks Street, just north of International Airport Road. She says responding officers found blood throughout the interior of the Tahoe. The woman was found in a ditch. Police continue to investigate, and aren't releasing more specific information.
