- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police say they're looking for a 21-year-old "person of interest" who may be connected to the case of a woman found severely beaten and unconscious. Police say Bukurim Miftari is considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen Monday night near Old Seward Highway and Grange Street and that he ran off when officers tried to contact him. He is being sought in the case of 30-year-old Kristen Reid of Anchorage, who remains in critical condition at a hospital. The investigation began at 5:47 a.m. when a passer-by reported a sport utility vehicle stopped on Fairbanks Street. Investigating officers found blood throughout the SUV's interior and the severely injured Reid was found in a nearby ditch.
