- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police say two cars were stolen from different churches on Sunday. In both cases, the vehicle owners had left their keys in the coat pockets, and the coats were left unattended on either a rack or in a closet. One car has been recovered, but a blue 2006 Chevy 1500 pickup with a camper shell remains missing. The Alaska plates on the truck have the number EZW-171. Police in a release say people shouldn't leave their keys or valuables unattended. They also remind people that as winter approaches, people shouldn't leave their vehicles while they are running to warm up.
