Pedestrian who was killed is identified

- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police have identified a man killed when he walked into the road and was struck by a car. The Anchorage Daily News reported Wednesday that the man was 33-year-old Brandon Wright of Anchorage. Wright was hit early Saturday morning when he walked into the road at a crosswalk location at the intersection of Tudor Road and Arctic Boulevard in mid-town Anchorage. Witnesses said there was a signal light telling him it was not safe to cross. The driver of the car that hit Wright stopped, but Wright died at the scene.
