- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Alaska voters anywhere in the world can request election ballots electronically. The system was launched last month. It has been open to military and voters overseas since September. It now is open to all registered voters through Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. - the evening before the Nov. 6 general election. The application for an electronic ballot is at www.elections.alaska.gov . Voters should fill out the ballot and mail, email or fax it back to the Alaska Division of Elections.
