- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Federal accident investigators say a damaged charter plane was destroyed by wind at Toksook Bay. Clint Johnson with the National Transportation Safety Board says a Grant Aviation charter from Bethel to Toksook Bay went off the end of the right hand side of the runway Friday night at Tooksook Bay. Johnson says the nose gear of the plane was damaged. KTUU says there were no injuries among the four people on board the single-engine Cessna 207. Johnson says the wind came up later that night and blew the plane onto the tundra, destroying it.
