Israel Keyes, the man accused of kidnapping and killing an Anchorage barista, is dead. State Troopers say Keyes while in custody in Anchorage. Troopers are investigating, but no further details were immediately available. Keyes was scheduled to go to trial in the spring for abducting 18-year-old Samantha Koenig, killing her and dumping her body in Matanuska Lake earlier this year.
