- FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) - Alaska State Troopers say a 39-year-old Delta Junction man is under arrest after authorities broke up a large marijuana growing operation at two properties. The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner says drug enforcement investigators on Friday dismantled the operation, which included more than 140 marijuana plants altogether. According to troopers, authorities seized 50 ounces of marijuana. Troopers say investigators served two search warrants at two homes, including the property of Ian Miller. Troopers say investigators dismantled an 82-plant marijuana grow and seized 23 ounces of marijuana at Miller's property. According to troopers, a second search warrant was served at another home, where 60 marijuana plants and 27 ounces of processed marijuana were found. Miller is charged with misconduct involving a controlled substance. Troopers say he likely will face additional charges.
