- WASILLA, Alaska (AP) - A 25-year-old man has been charged with the weekend robbery of a hitchhiker near Wasilla. State Troopers say Jonas Jensen is being held at Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with bail set at $10,000. Troopers say the hitchhiker at 1:30 p.m. Sunday was on Pittman Road about a half mile north of the Parks Highway when a pickup pulled over. A passenger got out and struck the hitchhiker with some kind of club. Troopers say the man took the hitchhiker's backpack, which contained a laptop and cash. Jensen is charged with robbery, felony theft, assault and weapons misconduct.
