Jan 05, 2013 -- 4:20pm

- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage fire and police officials say a fire that extensively damaged a three-story apartment building, injuring two people and displacing more than two dozen, was intentionally set and a 41-year-old woman has been arrested. In a Friday night statement, Fire Chief Chris Bushue said Jenae Collins of Anchorage has been arrested for investigation of first-degree arson and reckless endangerment. Fire Department spokesman Al Tamagni didn't offer any details on the cause of the Thursday morning blaze at the Calais Arms Apartments. He says the fire was classified as arson after a joint police and fire investigation and interviews with residents. All 24 apartments were affected, with seven families displaced. Tamagni said the third floor and roof were engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
