- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A man who was struck by a vehicle in an east Anchorage neighborhood has died. Anchorage Police say that the man was struck by the vehicle Wednesday night at an intersection in the Fairview neighborhood. The man was hit by the vehicle just before 6 p.m. Medics declared him dead soon after arriving at the scene.
