- ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Firefighters responded to two mobile home fires in Anchorage late Friday, one of which left a person dead. Anchorage Fire Department spokesman Al Tamagni said in an email Saturday that several people called 9-1-1 at about 6 p.m. to report a fire at the Rangeview Trailer Court on Muldoon Road. Firefighters arrived to find a fully engulfed trailer. Two people were taken to the hospital and one of them died. Tamagni did not release the victim's name or say what caused the fire. A few hours later, flames destroyed a mobile home at the Dimond Estates Trailer Park. No one was injured in that blaze and its cause has yet to be determined.
