- JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - A new designer drug linked to deaths in the Lower 48 has arrived in Alaska's capital city. The Juneau Empire reports that Juneau Police say the new drug is called 25i and has been linked to several medical emergencies in Juneau over the last month. Deaths from the drug have been reported around the country. Police say that the drug usually comes on blotter paper, similar to the manner in which LSD is sometimes presented. The new drug produces symptoms similar to Ecstasy, but also can result in violent behavior, seizures and death.
