Police Identify Man Killed in Glenn Highway Wreck

- EAGLE RIVER, Alaska (AP) - A man died in an accident on the Glenn Highway when his vehicle left the highway and crashed into a fence. The one-vehicle accident occurred Wednesday afternoon near Eagle River at about 3:50 p.m. as the driver was heading toward Anchorage. Police have identified the driver as 62-year-old Campbell Kirk McKellar. The vehicle ended up on its side after striking the fence. Two lanes were closed for about two hours while police investigated the crash.
