Frank Adams was formally charged with murder at the Palmer Courthouse Friday. Adams has pleaded not guilty to killing 42-year-old Stacey Johnston. He's accused of leading police officers on a high speed chase down the Glenn Highway with Johnston's body in his car on July 28. The 45-year-old has been charged with first and second degree murder, manslaughter and tampering with evidence in the death of Johnston. In addition to the murder charges, Adams faces charges from the police chase and a protective order he'd violated at the time of his arrest.
