Alaska State Troopers say an inmate killed himself at the point Mackenzie correctional farm over the weekend. Alaska State Troopers and the Alaska Bureau of Investigations responded to a report of an inmate suicide at the Correctional Farm in Wasilla just after 1 in the afternoon Saturday. Investigation revealed that an inmate, 49 year old Mark W. Wagner of Wasilla, had been found hanging by his neck with a rope in his assigned work area, after being reported missing.  Corrections Officers cut down Wagner and commenced C-P-R until E-M-S arrived.  Wagner was pronounced dead on scene. Next of kin was notified, and the investigation continues.
