A Takotna man driving a four-wheeler died from injuries suffered in a crash with a motorcycle. Alaska State Troopers say 37-year-old John Capsule was killed late Sunday night near the Takotna airport. Capsule was driving his all-terrain vehicle toward the airport and collided head-on with a motorcycle driven by 15-year-old Tyler
Goods. Capsule was transported to McGrath, where he was pronounced dead. Goods was flown to Anchorage for treatment of head and face injuries. Neither driver was wearing a helmet. Takotna is a community of 46 on the north bank of the Takotna River about 17 miles west of McGrath.
